I have been selected to present an exhibition of my recent paintings at
Horace Williams House in Chapel Hill in July of 2016.

I am to be a guest artist in March, along with Susan Parrish, a Raleigh artist,
at the Roundabout Art Collective.  We will share a room (The Oberlin Room).
I feel it is a privilege for me to be able to show a few of my paintings with Susan
and with members of the collective.

My entry, “The Philosopher’s Wall” was included in The Fine Arts League
of Cary 2013 Annual Juried Art Show. The painting received an “Honor Award.”
With the award came a 50 dollar Jerry’s Artarama Gift Certificate.  This should
help with the 30 dollar entry fee, the gas to get the picture there, to attend the
“Opening Reception” and to retrieve the painting. Not to speak of the wood
from Home Depot to put around the picture. And the canvas and paint from,
guess who ? So it goes…

Currently (April- June, 2012) , I’m showing 16 abstract paintings
at Red Hat Inc. in Raleigh and 12 still life paintings at Red Hat Inc. in Atlanta.
These are private corporate exhibitions, meaning the work is installed
in the halls and other spaces in the buildings which are  not open to the public.
These shows will continue through June, at which time another artist’s
work will be installed.  Steven Silverleaf curates these exhibits.
