Bio

I am a visual artist. I grew up in Raleigh, NC. In 1960,
I graduated from Richmond Professional Institute, Richmond, Virginia, with a BFA degree in Commercial Art. My first job as a graphic designer was at Dance Magazine in NYC. I was the graphic artist, Rudolph deHarak was the Art Director. After a year, I
returned to Virginia and worked for various studios, ad agencies and the University of Virginia before establishing, in 1974, in Northern Virginia,
Teague Graphic Design.
Most of my assignments were illustrations
for magazines and newspapers.

In 2004, my wife and I relocated to Raleigh. We added a studio to our house. I enjoy spending time in the studio.

In 1996, I began entering my art in juried competitions.  Since then my work has been included in over 125 shows.  In Virginia, I had 3 one-man exhibits. In North Carolina, I have shown my work in one-man shows at the Garden Gallery in Raleigh, Page-Walker Arts & History Center in Cary, the Vision Gallery in Atlantic Beach, Horace Williams House in Chapel Hill and the Roundabout Art Collective in Raleigh. And again at Horace Williams House in July of 2016.
